There are Those Who Pray for You

You don't know me
For we have never met
And yet...
Today I prayed for you
If you cried out to God
And asked that if He cares
He would let you know
That He hears your prayers.
For just this morning I asked our Creator,
Who sits upon His Heavenly Throne
To bless all of those who are crying out
Those who ask Him if their names are known
I have asked Him to nudge me even as I sleep
When someone needs prayers, is anxious
And those who in silence weep.
Know that there are many who do this
Who pray for you just the same
Asking God to bless those who seek Him
In Jesus Name

We will not know until Eternity
Just how powerful the prayers of God's saints can be.
We will not really understand
How often we have been guided by His loving hand
Keeping us safely day and night
And keeping us from wrong while leading us to right.
Join together with Christians everywhere
And for our brothers and sisters in Christ, say a prayer.
