Got My Armor On

God’s armor is strong enough
To protect us in the fight
That the forces of evil
Wage against what is right.
God’s armor will protect us
As we stand firm with the shield of faith
Feet fitted firmly in His Word
As the enemies of truth we face.
Flaming arrows from the evil one
May come as steadily as the rain
God will fortify us for this struggle
And even when it seems we cannot win
God can pick us up, extinguish all the enemy’s flames
And make us strong in the Faith again!
So put on the whole armor, take up the shield of faith,
And adjust the helmet of salvation
And the sword of the Spirit put in place!

As a Christian, I know I'm not perfect
I know I make mistakes
I'm not always at my best
But I do know what it takes
To go to God and ask Him
To forgive my unwanted sin
To cleanse my heart
Restore my soul
And make me whole again.

True words Miss Thena, i'm just anxiously awaiting the devout "religious" to step up and give testimony of how "a religion" saved them and why so beholding to them, when Jesus did it all for us and He hated religion.

Matthew 23:17; 19
The Pharisees and Sadducees were the religious leaders and guides of their people, yet Jesus called them fools for their inability to distinguish between important matters and insignificant things. They made such a big outward scene and a show of their religiousness by putting ornaments on their heads that represented their prayers, but underneath they were greedy for attention and praise and full of sin. Jesus even called them children of hell in Matthew 23:15.
