Forgiveness

Father, help me to forgive others
For any wrong done to me
Whatever it really is
And what I may perceive it to be
And I ask, Dear Lord, that for my misdeeds
That you lead them to forgive me.
I know sometimes we don't see the entire picture
Of things that happen here below
But we can be for sure for each action
That its entirety You know.
When I am stubborn or hard headed
And hesitate to forgive someone as I ought to do
Remind me, Dear Lord, of how You forgave those
Who placed that crown of thorns on You...
