My Late Night type Commercial

After watching all of those sham wow type commercials on TV I've decided I'm advertising my poetry books all wrong...


Ok, how is this for my "late night type commercial"

Do you want a sassy verse
Or a teary sentimental one?
Are you looking for a tear
Or a bit of fun?
Look no further dear friends of mine
You can purchase that online
And if you respond this very minute
You will find an extra gift within it!
Don't buy those knives that cut through steel
Or that antique spinning wheel
That lantern light that glows so bright
And keeps neighbors awake at night
But be resourseful and buy instead
A little book of verse to keep by your bed.
